Looking at the state of the world right now June 2020. I feel so sad, we are all so lost. We walk around with a righteous attitude, oblivious to our own lost ways while we stand in judgement of others. We make others wrong for not being or looking like us or cultures wrong for not doing it the way we do it or wrong the way some connect to god or spirit because it is not our way or the “right way”.
I wonder what it would take to make our world peaceful and filled with equality, love and respect for all.I went looking for a time in my life that I could honestly say everyone seemed like they were one, everyone regardless of race, religion or culture. It was for sure my Camino last year. Many days of walking and talking to strangers getting to know their inner joys and sorrows and sometimes holding back tears. Other times filling space with loud laughs that echoed in the distance. We were all one, no one better than the other and it was beautiful! What if our life was a Camino and our role was to walk on the earth with love, acceptance and respect for fellow travelers. While on this Camino we naturally listened, embrace and assisted fellow travelers because our soul saw their soul. What if while we walked we learnt to understand the deep yearning of others and held the light for them to attain it. 🦋
This morning I choose for my life to be a Camino. ❤️
